The Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s annual Magic Under the Mangroves gala is set for Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the Conservancy Nature Center. Located in the heart of Naples, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida has been a leading environmental conservation organization for this region and beyond.
The upcoming Magic Under the Mangroves signature event will mark 20 successful years of fundraising for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, raising more than $19 million in 19 years to support the key mission efforts protecting and preserving Southwest Florida’s water, land, wildlife and future.
This year will be especially monumental as the Conservancy will be celebrating its 60th anniversary. Toni Mueller, second-term event chair, shares, “This anniversary year is a special time to celebrate the many wonderful successes achieved by the Conservancy in its 60-year history of protecting and preserving Southwest Florida’s water, land, wildlife and future.”
The Conservancy announced Toni & Charlie Mueller and Carol & John Walter as this year’s event chairs.
Mueller continues, “at Magic Under the Mangroves 2024, we will celebrate the work of the talented and dedicated Conservancy staff members and volunteers, along with the very generous financial support from our community. This has been and will continue to be the winning formula for success.”
The event, located at the beautiful 16-acre Conservancy campus, is named one of the top charitable events in Naples. Catered by Ritz Carlton, the night will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a live auction with one-of-a-kind experiences.
Carol Walter adds, “the Conservancy is critical to the well-being of the community in protecting the land, the water and wildlife. It is the major fundraising event and it introduces new people to the mission and accomplishments of the Conservancy.”
Magic Under the Mangroves is presented by Northern Trust, supported by William Raveis, along with community sponsors, Naples Daily News, Waterside Shops, Gulfshore Life and WINK News.
